Is Lady Gaga streaming The Tortured Poets Department? On Tuesday, the pop star shared a TikTok making reference to one of Taylor Swift’s lyrics and directing her fans to register to vote as she cleared pregnancy rumors. (And Swift had something to say too!)

“Not pregnant,” Gaga wrote. “Just down bad cryin’ at the gym. Register to vote at www.headcount.org.”

The “just down bad cryin’ at the gym” line is from Tortured Poets song “Down Bad,” on which Swift sings, “Now I’m down bad crying at the gym/Everything comes out teenage petulance/’What if I can’t have him?'”

By Wednesday morning, Swift left a comment on Gaga’s TikTok defending her against those speculating about her body. “Can we all agree that its invasive & irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body,” Swift wrote. “Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation & neither does any woman.”

Gaga originally captioned her post with a link to HeadCount, encouraging fans to “register to vote or check if you’re registered,” ahead of this year’s election.

The pregnancy speculation came up online after fans saw photos of Gaga, dressed in a short black dress and wearing pearls, at her sister’s wedding in Maine over the weekend. (Gaga was her sister’s maid of honor, per The Sun.)

Gaga is set to commence a new era of music and said she was “in the studio every single day” during the premiere of her Gaga Chromatica Ball concert film.

“I love to break genre, and I love to explore music. There’s something really beautiful about knowing that you will be loved no matter what you do,” she said during a Q&A with Access Hollywood‘s Scott Evans ahead of the film’s screening.

In March, Gaga shared that she has been “writing some of my best music in as long as I can remember.” Gaga also recently announced the revival of her Jazz and Piano show in Las Vegas, where she performs jazz standards and tracks from the Great American Songbook.

Hip-Hop Pioneer Afrika Bambaataa Dead at 68

Afrika Bambaataa, the visionary DJ, rapper, producer, and activist who became one of the first global hip-hop stars and later faced multiple, widespread accusations of child sexual abuse, died on Thursday at age 68.

“Today, we acknowledge the transition of a foundational architect of Hip Hop culture, Afrika Bambaataa,” Kurtis Blow wrote in a statement as executive director of the Hip Hop Alliance, a labor force founded by himself alongside Chuck D, KRS-One, and others. “[He] helped shape the early identity of Hip Hop as a global movement rooted in peace, unity, love, and having fun. His vision transformed the Bronx into the birthplace of a culture that now reaches every corner of the world … At the same time, we recognize that his legacy is complex and has been the subject of serious conversations within our community.”

The 56-year-old is currently serving a 50-month sentence at Fort Dix, a low-security federal facility in New Jersey, after he was convicted of transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs’ scheduled release date is April 15, 2028, according to the Bureau of Prisons.

The incident occurred while on tour in Mexico City, while the Pretty Reckless are supporting AC/DC on their extended run of the Power Up Tour. “So it wouldn’t be an AC/DC tour if I didn’t get bit,” Momsen wrote on Instagram. “This time a massive spider decided to take a chunk out of me and its venom did a number on my system so had to have the wonderful doctors in Mexico come and deliver quite the shot before the show last night…add it to the list! Spider woman? Batgirl?”

Heart’s Nancy Wilson commented on Momsen’s post, instructing, “Flush out your system with lots of water and follow all the doctors protocol exactly.”
