Diljit Dosanjh has unveiled dates for his Aura North America Tour, marking another large-scale chapter in his global live run with shows across Canada and the United States this spring.

The tour begins on April 23 in Vancouver at BC Place Stadium, before moving through Western and Central Canada. Dosanjh will perform at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary on April 30, Rogers Place in Edmonton on May 2, and Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg on May 7. The Canadian leg wraps with a Toronto date on May 31 at Rogers Centre.

Between the Canada dates, Dosanjh will also take Aura to U.S. cities including Orlando, Dallas, Nashville, Atlanta, New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

The announcement comes as Dosanjh’s influence continues to expand beyond live music. In Canada, Toronto Metropolitan University is currently running a university-level course focused on his career and cultural impact, examining his role in shaping Punjabi music’s global reach, diaspora identity and contemporary pop culture.

Dosanjh’s recent milestones also include record-setting tours, sold-out arena runs across continents, a historic performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival — where he became one of the first Punjabi-language artists to perform — and a high-profile appearance at the Met Gala, underscoring his growing presence across music, fashion, and global pop culture.

Ticketing details for the Aura North America Tour are expected to be announced soon, with further information to be shared in the coming weeks.

Trump Scraps Failed Freedom 250 Concerts, Makes Himself Headliner of ‘Greatest Rally, EVER’

After a slew of artists dropped out of the Freedom 250 concert series upon learning about organizers’ ties to Donald Trump, the president announced on Thursday that he would be replacing the shows with a rally headlined by none other than … himself.

His announcement comes after he urged for the concerts’ cancellation and pitched that he himself perform following the sudden exits of artists. The rally will still include music, however, and feature Eighties country singer Lee Greenwood, who wrote the patriotic hit “God Bless the U.S.A.”

Hear Prince’s Previously Unreleased, Forever Funky ‘Stone’

Prince could make even a stolid metaphor comparing a lover’s coldness to an inanimate rock sound funky, as he proved on “Stone,” an unreleased song that has been languishing in the Purple One’s vault until now.

“Take your icy hand and press it on this heart of stone,” he sings at one point, though listeners are likely more distracted by the song’s heavy beat and buoyant bass. Prince recorded the track, which was written by songwriters Sandra St. Victor, Tom Hammer, and Jules Van Even, in 1995, the same year he released The Gold Experience, but it’s set to get an official release on the upcoming all-unreleased-music compilation, Timeless, due Aug. 28.

Paul Simon Documents Return to the Road in ‘The Quiet Celebration Concert’ Movie

A little over a year ago, Paul Simon returned to the road following a seven-year hiatus to promote his new LP Seven Psalms. It was a stunning show that featured a complete performance of the album in the first act, and a mixture of hits (“Graceland,” “Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard,” “The Boxer”) and fan favorites (“Train in the Distance,” “The Late Great Johnny Ace,” “Rene and Georgette Magritte With Their Dog After the War”) in the second act.

Cameras were rolling when the tour hit Seattle’s McCaw Hall, and that footage provides the backbone for the new concert film Paul Simon: The Quiet Celebration Concert, which is premiering June 26 on Disney+ and Hulu. A companion live album is arriving Oct. 9.
