bbno$, Marianas Trench frontman Josh Ramsay and Slayyyter will be sitting on the judging panel when Canada's Drag Race returns later this month.

The three musicians are among the guest judges confirmed for the competition's seventh season, whose first trailer was released Nov. 2. The new season premieres Nov. 19 on Crave, with Canadian drag performers competing for the title of Canada's Next Drag Superstar and a $100,000 cash prize.

Vancouver rapper bbno$ has some history with the show, having worked with Jimbo, the London, Ontario-born drag artist and former contestant, on the music videos for "Imma" (2020) and "NSFW" (2025). He also enlisted the show's inaugural winner, Priyanka, and 10 other drag performers for his performance of "It Boy" at the 2025 Juno Awards in Vancouver.

Priyanka subsequently represented bbno$ at this year's Juno Awards while he was away on tour. She arrived alongside Baby Joe Money, a performer dressed as the rapper. In a recent Billboard Canada cover story, bbno$ discussed how drag had helped him become his "most extravagant self."

Ramsay also has a musical connection to the series. Marianas Trench's 2012 single "Desperate Measures" was featured in a lip-sync battle during the fifth season in 2024, when Toronto drag performers Makayla Couture and Perla competed against each other.

Slayyyter joins the series after a major year that has brought her first appearances on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. Her singles "Dance..." and "brand new chanel$" reached No. 97 and No. 72, respectively. Both followed the March release of her album WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, which topped Billboard's Top Dance Albums chart.

The guest judging lineup also includes Canadian fashion designer Aurora James, Korean-American comedian Joel Kim Booster and Overcompensating actor Wally Baram.
