Charlotte Cardin Adds New Canadian Dates to Global Tour

Charlotte Cardin is expanding her 2027 world tour with additional concerts in Québec and Europe, as anticipation builds for her upcoming third studio album, Midnight, mon amour.

The Montréal-born singer has added performances at the Centre Vidéotron in Québec City and the Centre Bell in Montréal after announcing her first-ever concerts at both venues. The new dates bring her tour to Québec City on October 16 and 17, 2027, while her Montréal run now includes October 20, 21, 22 and 25.

The October 21 performance at the Centre Bell and the October 22 are already sold out on Cardin's official tour website, as is her October 16 Québec City concert. She has also added a second Paris performance at the Accor Arena on December 5, following her previously announced December 4 appearance.

Cardin's tour shares its name with her forthcoming album, which is scheduled to arrive January 29, 2027, through Montréal-based label Cult Nation and The Orchard. The 17-track project will be released in both English and French, following her 2021 debut Phoenix and 2023 sophomore effort 99 Nights.

The singer has already released several tracks from the record, including “Tant pis pour elle,” “The Way We Touch” and “Take Me Back.” Her latest single, “Memories,” arrived October 9 in two versions, one in English and another bilingual recording titled “Memories (Souvenirs)”.

Cardin has described Midnight, mon amour as a “shadow album,” exploring private desires, vulnerability, shame and the contradictions people often conceal. She also sees the project as an exploration of the duality of womanhood.

“I really wanted to explore all of the inner duality that I’ve been feeling as a woman in the last few years and I wanted to use those oppositions and those contradictory feelings as something that’s empowering and liberating,” she said in a statement announcing the album.

The world tour begins in London on May 1, 2027, before taking Cardin across Europe, Morocco and Turkey. The Canadian dates follow in October, with the singer returning to France, Belgium and Luxembourg in November and December.

Her latest album will be her first full-length release since 99 Nights, which earned her two JUNO Awards, including Album of the Year.

Brian May Clears Up Queen’s Live Future: ‘I’m on a Break’

Queen‘s Brian May has been spending a lot of time in his studio lately, from his work on the score to June’s Masters of the Universe (out soon on vinyl) to a collaboration with William Shatner. After decades of touring, he’s enjoying time at home, so he’s not anxious to play shows right now — but in a recent Zoom chat with Rolling Stone, he again made it clear that he’s not ruling it out. He also talked about Queen’s scores for Flash Gordon and Highlander, the newly restored Queen Budapest concert film, and more.
