Bad Bunny’s appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show didn’t just make an impact on the charts. According to information reported by Billboard, the Puerto Rican superstar’s performance also sparked a sharp rise in travel interest across multiple destinations, particularly in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Data shared by Expedia shows that flight searches to Puerto Rico jumped 245% in the days following the event. The capital city of San Juan saw a 240% increase, while Vega Baja, the artist’s hometown, experienced a staggering 1,450% spike. Known for its beaches and coastal scenery, the town is now drawing fans eager to connect with the cultural roots behind the global star.

The ripple effect extended across the region. Searches for flights to Mexico climbed 210%, while Brazil and Colombia each saw increases of 120%. Argentina posted a 70% rise, pointing to broader interest in the Latin American cultures highlighted during the performance.

His upcoming international tour is also fueling demand. Flight searches to London rose 90%, with Madrid up 20% and São Paulo climbing 35% ahead of a scheduled show.

Beyond tourism, the commercial impact is just as visible. The BadBo 1.0 “Resilience” sneakers, unveiled during the performance in collaboration with Adidas, drove a 496% surge in searches, while interest in the artist’s overall style also skyrocketed.

Britney Spears Spoke in British Accent and Offered Cops Lasagna During DUI Stop, Arrest Records Say

Britney Spears exhibited “drastic mood swings,” spoke in a British accent, and offered to make officers lasagna at her nearby home when she was pulled over and arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in California last March, according to arrest records obtained by The New York Times.

The singer, 44, admitted she’d consumed one mimosa several hours before her March 4 arrest in Ventura County, but she denied being intoxicated behind the wheel, the arrest report from the California Highway Patrol states. Pearl Jam Will Unveil New Drummer in September: ‘It’s Our Mystery Wrapped in an Enigma’

When Pearl Jam announced plans to headline the 10th annual Ohana Festival earlier this month, many fans had the same question: “Who will be playing drums?” The band hasn’t played a show since Matt Cameron announced his departure last year, and they’ve yet to indicate who is going to replace him.

But in a new interview on SiriusXM’s Pearl Jam Radio, guitarist Stone Gossard strongly implied they’ve made their pick. At the very least, they’ll make it official once they take the stage at Ohana on Sept. 27. “There’s not enough mystery in the world,” Gossard said. “I think the band is very excited that we’re actually getting to play. It’s been a while and the fact that we get to do it at Ohana makes it even doubly exciting. And the fact that nobody knows who’s going to play drums with us even makes it triply exciting. So, it’s our mystery wrapped in an enigma and we’re relishing in it right now.”

Ed Sheeran Parts With Longtime Label Warner: ‘This Isn’t a Disgruntled Artist Situation’

After 15 years, Ed Sheeran is no longer part of Warner Music Group. On Friday, the musician shared a newsletter with fans revealing he split from Atlantic Records and Asylum Records last month. “This isn’t a ‘disgruntled artist leaves record label’ type situation,” Sheeran wrote. “This is a boy who started as a teenager on the company with different priorities, to the father of 2 man who exists now, who feels like he needs a shift and change in the way he does things professionally.”

Sheeran released his first album, Plus, under Atlantic/Asylum in September 2011. The labels would go on to oversee the release of six more albums, including Multiply, Divide, Subtract, Equals, and the new series starter, Play. During this stretch of time, Sheeran went from couch surfing pub player to one of the biggest pop stars of his generation.
