The Creator, Shaboozey, Gracie Abrams, The Chainsmokers.

Megadeth Are Number One … Finally!

It’s not difficult to picture the smirk, the guttural “heh,” and the flush of pride that must have seized Dave Mustaine’s face on Sunday when he learned that Megadeth’s self-titled LP, their 17th and supposedly last record, was this week’s Number One album. Megadeth fans have been rooting for this day for more than four decades, and Megadeth has had no bigger fan since day one than their founder and singer-guitarist himself.

Just four years ago, when I asked Mustaine why his band’s last album, The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!, still thrashed so violently hard, what drove him to break the speed limits of metal even as he neared retirement age, he deadpanned, “Well, I still have a couple of bands in my crosshairs that I’m going after.” But then again, he could have retorted the same thing about any Megadeth album he’s put out since 1985.

Martin Shkreli Sues RZA Amid Battle Over Single-Copy Wu-Tang Clan Album

The wild power struggle over the Wu-Tang Clan’s secretive, single-copy album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin kicked into high gear again this week, with disgraced pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli filing a counter lawsuit against RZA.

In his new federal court filing obtained by Rolling Stone, Shkreli claims he remains the rightful owner of half of the album’s current copyrights, with the other half purportedly due to him 88 years after he purchased the LP in 2015. He claims this even though federal officials seized the album and sold it for $4 million to digital art collective PleasrDAO as part of a 2021 auction organized to pay victims linked to Shkreli’s 2017 securities fraud conviction.

Who Will Bad Bunny Bring Out During His Super Bowl Halftime Show?

Bad Bunny is on a roll. The Latin superstar just made history with his Grammy win for Album of the Year and will keep his historic streak going when he delivers the first Super Bowl halftime headlining show in Spanish on Sunday. Bad Bunny has already promised “the world will dance” in a preview trailer, so it’s bound to be one hell of a blowout bash as the star celebrates his beloved Puerto Rico on the national stage.

But what’s a party without a killer guest list? During his “No Me Quiero Ir De Aqui” residency in P.R. last year, the star invited a star-studded Rolodex of past collaborators and famous friends each night. It only makes sense he would bring some of those same folks, and even bigger stars, out for his big moment at the Super Bowl. We’re not sure what he’s going to do yet: Given his ICE speeches at the Grammys, it’s likely he could get political. He could also dedicate the entire performance to Puerto Rico. But while we’re guessing, here’s a list of potential performers we think Bad Bunny may bring out on Sunday.

All Things Go Toronto has announced Lorde, Kesha, and The Beaches as headliners for its 2026 edition, set to take place June 6 and 7 at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre.

The festival’s return marks its second consecutive year in the city and a notable calendar shift, moving from a fall slot in its debut year to an early-summer weekend. The change places All Things Go more firmly within Toronto’s peak festival season, where it joins a growing slate of large-scale live music events competing for audiences and touring artists.

Oh, Just Trump Saying Republicans Should ‘Nationalize’ and ‘Take Over’ Elections

Donald Trump’s approval numbers are in the tank, which may or may not have something to do with the fact that on multiple occasions in recent weeks he has teased the idea of somehow canceling the midterm elections. The White House has insisted Trump was “joking,” but it certainly didn’t seem like he was playing around when he proposed another wild idea to Dan Bongino: that Republicans should “take over” and “nationalize” the nation’s voting systems.

“The Republicans should say, we want to take over, we should take over the voting, the voting in at least many — 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting,” the president told the podcaster-turned-top FBI official-turned-podcaster in an interview that aired Monday, after pushing the false idea that Democrats bring non-citizens into the United States specifically so they will vote for them.
