Sabrina Carpenter Catches Jenna Ortega Mid Shower Tryst in New ‘Taste’ Teaser

Sabrina Carpenter Catches Jenna Ortega Mid Shower Tryst in New ‘Taste’ Teaser

Sabrina Carpenter’s new trailer for her upcoming single, “Taste,” sees the pop star running into actress Jenna Ortega in the most compromising of situations.

In a video posted to social media on Wednesday, Carpenter is seen perusing a spread of sharp metal objects before sauntering up the steps of a glossy mansion. Dressed in a satin, feather-trimmed robe, the singer walks in on a nude Ortega and a lover rendezvousing in the shower, before the camera pans to Carpenter moments before her impending Psycho tribute. The video cuts to the “Espresso” crooner using the a kitchen knife’s blade to, of course, apply lipstick, and singing: “Oh, I’ll leave quite the impression.”

Last month, Carpenter released the track list for her forthcoming studio album Short n’ Sweet, out Aug. 23. The 12-song LP opens with “Taste,” and includes the chart-topping single “Please Please Please,” her other summer hit, “Espresso,” as well as tracks “Good Graces,” “Sharpest Tool,” “Coincidence,” and “Bed Chem.”

Jenna Ortega, meanwhile, will lead Tim Burton‘s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, a sequel to the 1988 film that will see Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, and Michael Keaton reprise their iconic roles.

'40 Years of Fuckin' Up': Fat Mike Leaves It All In

At first glance, Fat Mike’s version of retirement feels like a punchline. When we speak, the former NOFX frontman is in Sacramento, in the middle of a World Poker Tour stop, coming off a final table appearance. He talks casually about home games with professionals in Las Vegas, about occasionally crossing paths with celebrity players, about the strange intimacy of a scene that, like punk before it, operates as a tight-knit subculture. Then there’s golf, another unexpected hobby, which he’s been playing for years. None of it resembles slowing down.

If anything, stepping away from NOFX has only multiplied his output. Film festivals, music production, business ventures, a stage musical in development. The idea of retirement, as he frames it, was never about stopping, but about shifting mediums. At the center of that transition is 40 Years of Fuckin' Up, a new documentary that he positions as the definitive closing statement on NOFX.

Wireless Festival ‘Forced to Cancel’ After U.K. Rejects Kanye West’s Visa

Wireless Festival, the music fest set to take place this summer in London’s Finsbury Park neighborhood, will no longer happen now that the country has denied headliner Kanye West a visa. “As a result of the Home Office banning YE from entering the United Kingdom, Wireless Festival has been forced to cancel,” a note on the fest’s social media said. “All ticket holders will receive an automatic full refund.” The government decided that an appearance by West, who has made multiple antisemitic statements in recent years, would not benefit the public good, the BBC reported.

Wireless Festival was to take place from July 10 – 12. West, who last performed in the U.K. 11 years ago, was scheduled to headline all three nights of the festival. No other acts had been announced, but a bespoke YeWireless.com website was created to collect info for presales, which began Tuesday.

Lil Nas X Granted Mental Health Diversion in LAPD Battery Case: ‘Doing Very Well’

“Old Town Road” singer Lil Nas X is a significant step closer to putting his felony police battery case in the rearview mirror.

The Grammy-winning musician, born Montero Hill, appeared in a Los Angeles County courtroom Monday and was granted entry into a mental health diversion program. The judge found that his arrest last August, for allegedly battering three police officers, was “aberrant from his normal conduct.” The court determined the incident was linked to the artist’s subsequent diagnosis of bipolar disorder, and so long as he complies with his treatment plan and obeys all laws for the next two years, the case will be dismissed, Judge Alan Schneider said.
