Last Call: Here’s How to Get Tickets to the Final Dates of U2’s ‘Achtung Baby’ Las Vegas Residency

Last Call: Here’s How to Get Tickets to the Final Dates of U2’s ‘Achtung Baby’ Las Vegas Residency

“My hope is that this will be a kind of quantum leap forward in the sense of what a concert can be,” U2 guitarist the Edge told Rolling Stone about their latest tour. U2 has expanded their U2:UV Achtung Baby Live Las Vegas residency with four additional dates at the newly-built Sphere venue. The final residency shows will take place on Feb. 23 and 24 and March 1 and 2, but there’s still time to get tickets online.

Sphere had been under construction for the past five years near the Venetian resort, with building costs reportedly topping $2 billion. Billing itself as the “world’s largest spherical structure,” Sphere is 516 feet wide, 366 feet tall, and can seat 17,600 people. The venue also includes the highest-resolution LED screen on Earth, 10,000 vibrating “immersive seats,” environmental effects like temperature control and cool breezes, and 164,000 speakers.

“We will be able to deliver the audio that we want people to hear without any interference from the acoustics of the building,” says the Edge. “It’s just an amazing playpen for us.”

Want to hear your favorite Achtung Baby track in real life? Here’s how you can still get U2 tickets for the remaining 2024 residency dates, and where you can find verified passes online (even if they sell out).

When Is the U2 Residency in Las Vegas?

The “Achtung Baby” residency launched on September 29, 2023 at the Sphere at the The Venetian in Las Vegas. Following the record-setting run, 11 more dates were announced due to overwhelming demand, and their run will now wrap up on March 2.

When Do U2 Achtung Baby Tickets Go On Sale?

General on-sale for U2’s Vegas residency final dates happened back in December via Ticketmaster. General-admission floor seats will be nontransferable for any amount of money over face value.

Your best bet now is to check resale sites like Vivid Seats and StubHub. Below are a few of the best places to find U2 tickers online for the remainder of the residency.

How to Get Tickets to the U2 Sphere Shows in Vegas

While Ticketmaster was where U2 tickets were first made available, several dates have since been sold out, and U2 tickets are now available on reseller sites like StubHubSeatgeek and Vivid Seats.

All of these sites offer authentic, verified tickets (I.e. no illegal scalpers here) and you can either find U2 tickets online by price range, or by searching for seats on a seat map. Tickets are delivered digitally (over email) and the sites all offer a buyer’s guarantee verifying that you are purchasing legitimate U2 tickets online.

1. Find U2 Tickets on Vivid Seats

Vivid Seats currently has U2 tickets starting at around $315 for the remaining residency dates. As always, Vivid Seats guarantees ticket authenticity and fast delivery (either physically or digitally) before the show. Use promo code RS2024 to take $20 off your order at VividSeats.com. Also, if you’ve used Vivid Seats before, be sure to enroll in the rewards program.

2. Find U2 Tickets on StubHub

U2 ticket prices on StubHub are currently the same or slightly more expensive than those at Vivid Seats (most shows are starting in the $315-335 range). One draw with StubHub is their ticket refund policy, which promises a StubHub credit for 120% of the amount you paid if the event is canceled.

3. Find U2 Tickets on TicketNetwork

Another place to find U2 tickets is TicketNetwork, where we see U2 ticket prices starting at around $420. No matter which tour date or seat you choose, you can take $10 off your order at TicketNetwork with code TNTIX.

4. Find U2 Tickets on SeatGeek

We spotted plenty of U2 tickets on SeatGeek as of this writing, and the site is usually a solid bet for resale tickets to popular concerts and events. Use the SeatGeek promo code TAKE5 to get $5 off your ticket purchase. It’s not a huge discount but still a chance to get save on U2 tix.

Avril Lavigne Covers Alanis Morissette’s ‘Ironic’ for Rom-Com Soundtrack

Avril Lavigne has released a cover of Alanis Morissette‘s “Ironic” as part of the soundtrack for the new rom-com Mile End Kicks.

Lavigne mirrors Morissette’s original version, showcasing her grungy vocals — but this isn’t her first time performing the song. Back in 2005, on the heels of her second record Under My Skin, Lavigne got invited to duet the track with Morissette at a concert at Los Angeles’ House of Blues. That same night, the duo also sang Lavigne’s “Losing Grip ” from her album Let Go.

Live Nation Operated as a Monopoly, Jury Finds

Live Nation has been found liable in its blockbuster antitrust trial, a remarkable verdict that has the potential to completely reshape the live entertainment industry, per the New York Times. The jury deliberated for four days before deciding that the company operated as a monopoly that broke antitrust laws.

The more than 30 states suing Live Nation and Ticketmaster were ultimately able to convince the jury that the company constituted a monopoly with their dominant positions in ticketing, concert promotions, and venues. The states argued that Live Nation used threats and retaliation to cajole artists and venues into using their services. These included allegations that Live Nation would withhold its lucrative concert tours from venues that didn’t sign exclusive deals with Ticketmaster, or that artists would only be allowed to play Live Nation-owned amphitheaters if they also used the company’s concert promotion services.
