Toronto will host one of 16 international pop-up shops tied to Harry Styles’ new album, with the temporary retail space landing on Queen Street West from March 6 to 8. The activation coincides with the Friday release of Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally, his fourth studio effort, and will feature project-specific merchandise available in store.

The local edition will take over 938 Queen Street West, the address currently occupied by The Welcome Market. Styles first shared the list of participating cities earlier this week via his headquarters Instagram account, before confirming exact locations on Wednesday.

While his upcoming world tour does not include a Canadian stop, Toronto fans will still have access to limited-run items during the three-day run. Eligible American Express cardholders can enter early with a guest, use a priority checkout line and receive a complimentary gift, while quantities last. Hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, March 6th, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. over the weekend.

Lloyd Banks to headline Montréal's Harlem of the North festival

Montréal's Harlem of the North Festival will welcome one of New York rap's defining voices this summer, as Lloyd Banks headlines the first day of the event on August 8 at Parc Angrignon. The fourth edition once again aims to showcase hip-hop culture in all its depth and diversity.

For festival founder Kevin Calixte, bringing Banks to Montréal was the result of careful planning. The idea came after seeing the celebrations surrounding the 22nd anniversary of The Hunger for More, the legendary G-Unit member's debut album. "We thought it would be a great way to pay tribute to that record at Harlem of the North, much like we did with Rainmen during the festival's first edition for the 25th anniversary of Armageddon." In his view, Banks represents a generation of rappers who defined the 2000s and whose influence continues to resonate today.

L'idée est née en voyant les célébrations entourant le 22e anniversaire de The Hunger for More, premier album du légendaire rappeur, membre de G-Unit. «On s'est dit que ce serait un beau clin d'œil de souligner cet album à Harlem du Nord, un peu comme on l'avait fait avec Rainmen lors de la première édition pour les 25 ans d'Armageddon.» Selon lui, le rappeur représente une génération qui a profondément marqué les années 2000 et dont l'influence se fait encore sentir aujourd'hui.
