The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival has postponed its debut, just days before John Mulaney was scheduled to headline the Mississauga, Ontario event.

The festival was set to take over Erindale Park from September 11 to 13, with Mulaney, Hasan Minhaj, Ronny Chieng, Jeff Arcuri and many others on the bill. Instead, organizers announced yesterday that the entire weekend would be postponed, without providing a specific reason.

“After careful consideration,” the festival said, it decided postponing the event was the best way to deliver the “best possible festival.” Organizers say they are now exploring new dates and will contact ticket holders directly.

The announcement comes after a series of lineup changes in the weeks leading up to the festival. Nick Kroll and Mike Birbiglia were among the comedians originally scheduled to appear alongside Mulaney, while the festival’s published lineup was later revised.

Mulaney, who has in the past had to cancel many shows in the GTHA, made clear Wednesday that the decision did not come from him. “It was not my decision,” he told Ontario fans, confirming that the festival producers had decided not to proceed with the weekend. He added that he intends to perform in the region soon.

The festival has not yet announced a reason for the postponing, replacement dates or a refund policy. For now, the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is offering few answers beyond “stay tuned.”

Clavicular Pleads Not Guilty to Rape Charges

Braden Peters, the controversial “Looksmaxxing” influencer known as Clavicular, pleaded not guilty to criminal rape charges in Massachusetts on Thursday, according to NBC News. He had been accused of assaulting another influencer, who was a teenager at the time, at his family’s home on Cape Cod in May 2025.

A judge set Peters’ bail at $10,000 at the arraignment. His lawyers had argued a day prior that the influencer neither posed a danger to his community nor a flight risk. Peters has no previous felony convictions. NBC reported that Peters paid the amount in cash on Thursday. The New York Times reported that Peters surrendered his passport and agreed to stay away from the influencer who accused him or address her online.

Her books must be available to the public.”

Palestine Action is committed to “ending global complicity with Israel’s genocidal apartheid regime,” according to their website. (Humanitarian groups and a United Nations commission have said Israel’s actions in Gaza constitute a genocide. Israel and its allies, including the United States, have denied this.)

Andrew Tate, the embattled manosphere influencer currently in federal detention in Miami, is facing a litany of new allegations in the United Kingdom, according to a request for extradition filed in U.S. federal court this week.

Tate has been accused, among other allegations, of producing pornographic material in 2015 with a girl who was 17 years old at the time, which is illegal in both the U.S. and the U.K. The allegations in the court document, which had been previously unreported, detail the relationship, during which Tate apparently demanded that she learn to “fist” herself — insert her entire hand into her vagina — because he had a “rich guy” who was willing to pay $1,000 for each video of this sexual act. “I want your whole hand up to your wrist,” he wrote to her, according to the filing.

When news recently broke that a former Cornell University student had accused seven men of drugging and gang-raping her at a fraternity party in 2024, and was suing the university for allegedly failing to protect her, comedy writer and internet gadfly Toby Morton jumped into action. He purchased domains for all the men named in the complaint and launched a website to share the story of the woman known as Jane Doe, her lawsuit, and Cornell’s response. “With the story of what happened, the screenshots of the guys saying, ‘free pussy upstairs,’ you know, I immediately went to GoDaddy,” he tells Rolling Stone, referring to a reported detail from the lawsuit. He also acquired domains connected to university officials; the names will all redirect to the main website, TheCornell7.org.
