Bad Bunny will take his colorful personality to the world of animation, with the Puerto Rican star announced as part of the cast of the upcoming Toy Story 5 film.

On Tuesday (May 26), Disney confirmed that the Grammy Award-winning artist will make a cameo appearance in the fifth installment of the popular film franchise as Pizza with Sunglasses. Described as “effortlessly cool and mysterious,” Pizza with Sunglasses is part of a small, but strong group of forgotten toys living in an abandoned shed.

In addition to Bad Bunny, Disney also revealed that actor Alan Cumming will appear in Toy Story 5. The actor will play Evil Bullseye, the evil counterpart of Woody and Jessie’s trusty horse, Bullseye.

Toy Story 5 will feature many of the franchise’s longstanding castmembers returning to their roles, including Tom Hanks (Woody the Cowboy), Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear), and Joan Cusack (Jessie). Actor Ernie Hudson will take over as the voice of Combat Carl in place of the late actor Carl Weathers, who died in February 2024. Additional stars set to appear in voiceover roles include Conan O’Brien, Craig Robinson, Shelby Rabara, Mykal-Michelle Harris, and Scarlett Spears.

Disney has described the plot of Toy Story 5 as “Toy Meets Tech,” with Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the gang confronting the biggest disruption in playtime history: A tablet called Lilypad (voiced by Greta Lee). Toy Story 5 is set to hit theaters June 19. It was co-directed by Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton and Kenna Harris, while Randy Newman returned to score the film.

Bad Bunny’s latest acting role continues his foray into film, as the Puerto Rican hitmaker has spent the past few years showcasing his chops as a thespian. In 2022, Bad Bunny appeared as Wolf in the David Leitch-directed film Bullet Train, starring Brad Pitt, and more recently showed up as Colorado in the 2025 film Caught Stealing, alongside Austin Butler, Regina King, and Zoë Kravitz.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Bad Bunny will appear in Porto Rico, a film that follows the life of iconic Puerto Rican revolutionary José Maldonado Román, known as Águila Blanca (White Eagle).

Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Jon Batiste Bid Stephen Colbert a Warm Musical Goodbye

Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, and Stephen Colbert‘s former bandleader Jon Batiste, along with current bandleader Louis Cato were among the musicians to bid a warm goodbye to Colbert during his final night hosting The Late Show at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York on Thursday. The performance also closed out the show, which was a star-studded, sentimental, and humorous send-off.

The first song that was broadcast was Costello’s “Jump Up (Honky Tonk demo)” — which appeared to be a prerecorded segment — an intimate acoustic number that featured Costello, Batiste, Cato, and Colbert on stools, harmonizing under spotlights. McCartney led the second song, the Beatles’ “Hello, Goodbye,” which was performed live in front of the theater’s audience, who stood and sang along as McCartney sang the Beatles classic.

Jack White, Barack Obama, Conan O’Brien Celebrate Stephen Colbert as ‘The Late Show’ Ends

The Late Show took its final bow on CBS last night, bringing Stephen Colbert‘s 11 years as host to an emotional end. Many of Colbert’s contemporaries, former guests, staff, and admirers paid tribute to the beloved host as the show concluded.

“America needs to give a standing ovation for this man tonight,” White wrote on Instagram. “God Bless Stephen, it is absolutely ridiculous that we live in a country where a President’s ego can vindictively censor network television…..and nobody stops him. Carry on down your new paths with your head held high sir. You’ve told the truth and given us so much to laugh at, and we’re expecting even more in the future. Thank you.”
