The year isn’t half over, but Shaboozey’s already had a great 2024: After collaborating on two tracks for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, the Nigerian-American singer-songwriter-producer has a hit of his own with “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” currently hovering in the Top Five of the pop charts. After a near-decade-long hiatus, Sharon Osbourne says Ozzfest is “absolutely” in the works for next year, saying the Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy Osbourne, gave his blessing for the event to continue on in his memory before his death last July.
“Yeah, we’re gonna do it,” Osbourne said last month during a sit-down talk at the MIDEM 2026 conference in Cannes, France. “The last one we did was 2018. It was just a month before Ozzy got sick, and that was at the Forum in L.A. And there [were] no plans to stop it. We were still gonna do it, but Ozzy couldn’t. And Ozzy and I would talk about it, and he’d say, ‘Do you think Ozzfest would work without me?’ And I’m, like, ‘Yeah, it’s a brand. It will work without you.’ And he said, ‘We should do it.’”
Osbourne is envisioning turning Ozzfest — which ran from 1996 through 2018 — into an even bigger production, with plans to take the venture out on the road as a touring festival. Osbourne said the revival will remain true to its original inception, with heavy metal and hard rock acts leading the line-up, but with the possible addition of more genres.
The last Ozzfest was held in 2018 at the Forum in Los Angeles, with performances from Ozzy, Rob Zombie, Jonathan Davis, and Marilyn Manson. Before his death from cardiac arrest and coronary artery disease on July 22, 2025, Ozzy was able to give his fans a bittersweet final goodbye with a hometown “Back to the Beginning” show with members of Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham.
Just days after releasing The Mountain last Friday, Gorillaz have announced a 22-date North American arena tour. The run kicks off in September and includes stops in Miami, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Austin, before wrapping up in Seattle on Halloween night. The group is also set to headline the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta.
In Canada, two dates are confirmed, in Toronto and Montreal. The Montreal show will take place on October 3 at the Centre Bell, with the virtual band performing in Toronto the following night.
Released on February 27 via Kong, the band’s own label, The Mountain marks the ninth studio album from the project helmed by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.
Recorded largely in India, the album incorporates Indian classical instrumentation into the group’s electronic and pop framework, and moves across multiple languages including English, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, and Yoruba. Shaped by themes of death and the afterlife, informed by the passing of Albarn and Hewlett’s fathers during its creation, the record features a wide range of guests, including Asha Bhosle, Johnny Marr, and Yasiin Bey, along with posthumous appearances from past collaborators. It was debuted in full in September 2025 during the anniversary exhibition “House of Kong,” and has since received widespread critical acclaim.
The tour will feature two special guests. British rapper Little Simz will serve as support, while Deltron 3030 will open all dates. Formed in the ’90s and collaborators with Gorillaz since the early days, Deltron 3030 is comprised of rapper Del the Funky Homosapien, Dan the Automator, and Montreal producer and DJ Kid Koala.
Tickets for the Montreal date go on sale March 9 at 10 a.m., following a series of presales earlier that week.

Justin Timberlake has filed a petition to stop the public release of body camera footage from his traffic stop and arrest on June 18, 2024 after he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign in the Southampton village of Sag Harbor, New York. The filing arrives after the singer pleaded guilty to one count of driving while impaired months following the arrest.
In the request filed on March 2 and obtained by Rolling Stone, Timberlake’s attorneys state that the footage depicts the Grammy winner in “an acutely vulnerable state during a roadside encounter with law enforcement, capturing intimate details of Petitioner’s physical appearance, demeanor, speech, and conduct,” adding that footage also includes Timberlake during hours of confinement after the arrest.
The footage is currently part of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by members of the media, including ABC News, per an emergency filing to block the bid.
In the paperwork, his legal team argues that public release of the video would “cause severe and irreparable harm” to his reputation, subject him to “harassment,” and serve no “legitimate public interest in understanding the operations of government.” His attorneys also assert that the footage’s disclosure would “constitute an unwarranted invasion” of the artist’s “personal privacy.”
Timberlake’s attorneys did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone‘s request for comment.The singer was arrested on suspicion of DWI back in June 2024. According to a previous court filing, police officers clocked Timberlake allegedly driving through a stop sign and then failing to “keep to the right side of the road” for multiple blocks.
Timberlake was initially charged with a single misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, to which he pleaded not guilty, following the Sag Harbor arrest. The following September he agreed to plead guilty to the lesser, noncriminal charge of driving while impaired. He will reportedly only have to pay a fine of $500, make a public safety service announcement, and serve up to 40 hours of community service at a nonprofit of his choosing.

Sean Combs’ release from prison has been bumped up by more than five weeks, with the music executive now expected to return home by April 25, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ website.
The 56-year-old is currently serving out a 50-month sentence for his conviction on two counts of prostitution-related charges at Fort Dix, a low-security federal correctional facility in New Jersey.
Combs’ release date has fluctuated since his arrival at Fort Dix last October. It was initially set for May 8, 2028, but then in November 2025, the date was pushed back to June 4, 2028, according to the BOP’s website. (Around the time, CBS and TMZ reported that Combs had violated at least two prison rules, which his team denied. A representative for Combs declined to comment.)
The Bad Boy founder has been imprisoned since his September 2024 arrest. The music mogul was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The alleged offenses related to so-called “freak-offs” that he had with his girlfriends — including Casandra “Cassie” Ventura — and male escorts.
Last summer, following a seven-week high-profile trial where Combs maintained his innocence, the music mogul was acquitted of the most serious charges. He is currently appealing his sentencing, as well as challenging the very law that he was charged under. A hearing is scheduled for April.
In the interim, Combs spends his days working in the prison’s chapel library and has also enrolled in an intensive drug treatment program, RDAP, which upon completion, can shave up to one year off inmates’ prison sentences. “He’s taking his time there seriously and working every day toward healing and coming home,” a spokesperson previously told Rolling Stone.

The first complete performance of Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, the fourth studio album from Harry Styles, will soon be available at the click of a button. The live recording of the musician’s One Night Only concert scheduled for Friday, March 6 concert at Co-op Live in Manchester, England will stream on Netflix beginning at 3 p.m. EST on Sunday, March 8.
On Instagram, Styles shared an official trailer for the film, which is titled Harry Styles. One Night in Manchester and produced by Fulwell Entertainment. It opens with him in rehearsals with his longtime live collaborators, including percussionist and music director Pauli Lovejoy.
Fans can set a reminder for the release on Netflix now. It’s currently listed as Disco, with an image of splattered spaghetti and the genre tags Music, British, and Concerts. “This movie is: Exciting,” the landing page reads.
The concert film will be captured on the same day Styles’ first album in four years arrives. The show itself follows a long-running tradition of release shows for the artist. In 2019, he performed in Los Angeles in celebration of Fine Line. In 2022, he brought Harry’s House to New York’s UBS Arena. The Manchester concert will be the first complete concert performance from Styles to be made available on-demand through a streaming service.
The 32-year-old has plans to take Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally on the road later this year with Together, Together, a series of residencies. The run includes 30 nights at Madison Square Garden in New York and 12 nights at Wembley Stadium in London. Styles will also perform in Amsterdam, Brazil, Mexico City, Melbourne, and Sydney.
