Megan Thee Stallion is on the mend after suffering “extreme exhaustion” during a performance of Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway. Megan gave an update on Wednesday about the incident that had her feeling like she was “gonna faint on stage.”

“Last night was a real wake-up call for me,” Megan posted on Instagram. “I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough.

“It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance but I just couldn’t,” she continued. “Hotties I wanna be real with y’all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting yall down 🥺 I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been.”

She added: “I’ll be right back on that stage Thursday, stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve. Thank you for always riding with me and loving me through everything.”

A rep for the rapper told Rolling Stone earlier on Wednesday that her condition forced her to abruptly end her performance midway through on Tuesday and check into the hospital.

“On Tuesday evening, Megan was transported to a local hospital to undergo a medical evaluation after experiencing concerning symptoms,” the rapper’s rep said in a statement to Rolling Stone. “Doctors ultimately identified extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms.”

The rapper “has since been treated, discharged and is now resting,” the rep added.

Megan started feeling ill during Tuesday night’s performance of the hit Broadway show. At the time, her rep told Rolling Stone she was “promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated.”

While little information was known about her confinement, the Grammy winner’s hairstylist, Kellon Deryck, wrote in a separate X post after the incident, “Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital.”

In February, Megan announced that she was joining the cast of Broadway’s Moulin Rouge! The Musical to portray Moulin Rouge owner and MC, Zidler. Her run with the production commenced on March 24 and concludes May 17.

“I’ve always believed in pushing myself creatively,” Megan Thee Stallion said in a statement to The New York Times about her role, “and theater is definitely a new opportunity that I’m excited to embrace.”

She added: “Broadway demands a different level of discipline, preparation and storytelling, but I’m up for the challenge and can’t wait for the Hotties to see a new side of me.”

On Wednesday, Megan Thee Stallion’s rep said she is expected to return to the stage this week. “Megan is incredibly grateful for the prayers and well-wishes from her supporters and is looking forward to resuming her role as Zidler on Moulin Rouge on Thursday.”

Will Oasis Show Up? Will New Order Make Peace? All Our Questions About the Rock Hall

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame revealed its class of 2026 on Monday evening, and it’s an unusually strong one. After years of dithering in which they proclaimed that Foreigner and Bon Jovi were somehow more worthy than Joy Division/New Order, the Hall is finally bringing in the groundbreaking post-punk band. (It was starting to look as if Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris, and Peter Hook would have to start yet another world-changing band to be recognized by the Hall.)

Elsewhere, Phil Collins is joining the double inductee club (which also should have happened at least a decade ago), icons Sade and Luther Vandross got well-deserved nods, and Wu-Tang Clan and Oasis are representing the Nineties.

Nine Inch Nails, Boys Noize Recorded Collab LP ‘in Studios, Hotels, Planes’ All Over

Nine Inch Nails‘ collaborations with Boys Noize began in 2024 when the German EDM producer remixed Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ Challengers soundtrack, and it blossomed last year when NIN made a short set of songs with Boys Noize a centerpiece of their Peel It Back tour. Now they’re releasing a unique, “purely electronic” full-length Nine Inch Noize album recorded “all over the place – some of it’s live, some in studios, hotels, planes, etc.,” according to Reznor, on Friday. The album is available to pre-save and preorder now.

“The creative fulfillment of working on the Challengers and Tron scores with Boys Noize led me to think that including him in the Peel It Back tour could be an interesting way to express NIN in more purely electronic terms live — a concept I’ve wanted to explore for some time,” Reznor said in a statement. “The result was so much fun for us we felt it was worth expanding and formalizing in some way.
