Karol G will take her genre-spanning Tropicoqueta around the world for her most ambitious tour to date. After initially teasing the tour during her historic headlining Coachella set, the Colombian superstar has officially announced her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour.

Karol will hit 39 stadiums across cities in North America, South America, and Europe for the global trek with more dates to be added. The feat is a historic one: She will be the first Latina artist to headline stadiums across Europe as part of a global tour, cementing her global reach. Tickets will be available on Monday, April 27 at her official website.

Along with the news, Karol shared a visual tour teaser set to her hit “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido.” In the video, the singer packs props and tropical-inspired sparkly outfits into the back of a truck. At one point, she opens a suitcase that sputters sequins out. “This one not yet,” she says with a smile, “but I will pack it.”

This past weekend, Karol closed out Coachella 2026 with a show-stopping spectacle that celebrated Latin music. She brought out artists including Peso Pluma, Becky G, J Balvin, and Ryan Castro, and emphasized her Colombian culture with bold, larger-than-life set designs.

During Karol’s blow-out final number, “Provenza,” the giant screens behind her flashed a message in orange: “Nos Vamos de Tour,” which translates to, “We’re going on tour.” The Colombian star directed everyone to look at the screens as she screamed the same message into the microphone.

In a recent interview on Call Her Daddy, Karol hinted that she’d been planning a tour, but put it aside to prepare her Coachella set. “We were talking about starting the tour, but then I was like, ‘Let’s stop everything and let’s just focus about this,’” she told host Alex Cooper. Since Karol released Tropicoqueta in June 2025, fans have been clamoring for news on what she’ll do to follow the record-breaking Mañana Será Bonito tour of 2023-2024. Now, the wait is over.

Grimes announces new album ''Psy Opera''

Grimes is teasing a new album, Psy Opera, but details around the project—including a release date—remain unclear. In a conversation with Interview MagazineInterview Magazine, she described the record as a work in progress, emerging after a period where she stepped away from music entirely. “I totally quit music,” she said. “I was like, ‘I’m just going to be a stay-at-home mom. Screw this.’”

Her return didn’t start with a formal comeback, but through writing—first poetry, then lyrics that gradually pulled her back into recording. Early material, she said, was far more abrasive, shaped by “nihilism and vengefulness,” with some of it ultimately left off the album. She doesn't go into detail on the source of those feelings, but there is no doubt that her relationship with her ex, real-life billionaire supervillain Elon Musk, has something to do with it.

Meet the Rolling-Paper Enthusiast Saving Weed Culture

A year ago High Times was on its last legs, in receivership due to large debt. Founded in 1974 by a marijuana smuggler, the notorious weed magazine had not published an issue in several years. The website had gone dark. They stopped organizing their popular Cannabis Cup judging contests. Then Josh Kesselman came sniffing around and made an offer to buy it.

“It’s amazing how degraded High Times was to the point that it would be sold for so cheap in a lot of ways,” Kesselman tells me. That price was $3.45 million. The deal went through last June.

Steve Albini’s Hard-Earned Nirvana Gold Record Is Now for Sale

A gold record award for Nirvana‘s final album, 1993’s In Utero — which was presented to Steve Albini, who recorded the album, and kept in his archives for decades — is now for sale. The late engineer’s experience with the project became fraught when the trio’s label insisted on remixes, arguing that Albini’s approach was too abrasive. The plaque, which recognizes sales in Indonesia and has a peculiar backstory, is available through Steve Albini’s Closet, launched after the engineer’s death. The blind-bid auction starts at $5,000; bidding ends May 3.

The listing for the award explains how Albini’s punk-rock politics led him to get an Indonesian award. “When Steve was sent his RIAA Gold Record Award for In Utero, he returned it to the band’s management, as part of his philosophical stance against major labels and how they operate,” it says. “Later, perhaps at the behest of others, he requested that the award be returned. Alas, it was no longer available, although what exactly happened to it is unclear.

D4vd Arrested After a Seven-Month Investigation: How We Got Here

Seven months after a severely decomposed body was found in the trunk of an impounded Tesla, heavily armed Los Angeles police officers descended upon a house in the Hollywood Hills to make an arrest. The platinum-selling singer D4vd, owner of the Tesla and long suspected to be linked to the alleged crime, was taken into custody shortly after 4:30 p.m. local time on Thursday and booked on suspicion of murdering 14-year-old Celeste Rivas.

The arrest of the singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, marks a culmination of sorts for what could well be the first of many phases in one of the most sensational and grisly Hollywood sagas in recent memory. In the months since Rivas’ body was discovered, there’s been near-total silence from authorities like the LAPD, District Attorney’s Office, and Medical Examiner. Meanwhile, there’s been a near-constant drip of information, rumor, and speculation from tabloids and internet sleuths.
