Charli XCX is hitting the road with a new fall tour in support of her upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film.

The singer will be joined by special guest, singer-songwriter underscores. Presale tickets go live on Friday, June 12, at 9 a.m., local time, before general sale tickets open up later that day at 1 p.m. “Can’t wait to party together again, it’s gonna be cute,” Charli wrote of the tour, signing off her message with two kisses.

After experimenting with a moodier sound with the dramatic Wuthering Heights soundtrack in February, Charli has been coy about what’s in store for her seventh studio album, which is set for release July 24.

She’s put out two singles so far, “Rock Music” and “SS26,” both of which hint at an edgier, rock sound, though she won’t commit to Music, Fashion, Film being a designated rock album. “I’m not gonna explain where I was coming from with ‘Rock Music,’” Charli wrote on Instagram. “But all i know is that things can be funny, earnest, sincere, and joyful all at the same time and that’s what i feel about a lot of the things i make.”

After the whirlwind success of Brat in 2024, Charli has been adamant that she doesn’t want to feel boxed in by any specific label or music genre. “If I’d made another album that felt more dance-leaning, it would have felt really hard, really sad,” she told Vogue in April, “but what’s interesting for me is to bend the possibilities of what my perspective on that could be.”

‘Cats’ Costume Designer Qween Jean Becomes First Openly Trans Person to Win Tony Award

Qween Jean, costume designer of Broadway’s Cats: The Jellicle Ball, made history as the first openly trans person to win a Tony Award. Jean received the award for Best Costume Design of a Musical during the pre-show on Sunday night at Radio City Music Hall, which was hosted by Laura Benanti and Tituss Burgess.

“This experience has been monumental,” Jean said in her acceptance speech. “We are here for the legacy of queer people, trans people. We are taking up space in ways we have to take up space. We have to shift the paradigm. So I just want to say, thank you all so much for this incredible honor. The world right now is deeply, deeply combating so many ailments, and we know as a society that when we come together, we can make real, permanent change.”

Marilyn Manson Loses Latest Bid to Toss Ex-Assistant’s Sex Assault Lawsuit

Marilyn Manson lost his latest bid Friday to shut down a sexual assault lawsuit brought by his former assistant.

A California judge refused to toss or trim the claims in Ashley Walters’ third amended complaint, five months after he revived the case under a new California law that gives older sexual assault claims a two-year lookback window to move forward.

Jessie gets her flowers in Taylor Swift‘s Toy Story 5 song, “I Knew It, I Knew You.” The track pulls inspiration from the Pixar series’ beloved character, who is featured on the art for the track, and marks a return to Swift’s country roots.

On the blissful song, Swift sings the catchy chorus, “I saw you, standing there in the light of the window/Wearing that same smile/Man, it’s been a while.” The star reunited with her longtime collaborator and friend Jack Antonoff to co-produce and co-write “I Knew It, I Knew You” (the duo last worked together on 2024’s The Tortured Poets Department).

Madonna Transforms Times Square Into a Dance Floor and Reminds Everyone Who the ‘Mother’ of Pop Is

Madonna materialized in a spectacular veil of hot pink in Times Square late this afternoon. As she tossed aside her cloak, the intro of her Confessions II single “I Feel So Free” declared, “I can be whoever I want to be,” and the star promptly instructed the crowd below to “come on, meet me on the dance floor.”

Of course, the fans packed shoulder to shoulder on the streets had already obliged and cheered as Madonna captivated them in the way only Madonna can. The pop icon sashayed in knee-high silver boots, satin blush stockings, and a matching corset across the elevated stage for the free Pride Month performance in partnership with the Grindr app.

Florida Senator Urges Stadium to Cancel Kanye West Concerts Over ‘Consistent Antisemitic Attacks’

Florida senator Rick Scott is urging the Tampa Sports Authority to cancel Kanye West‘s upcoming headlining concerts at Raymond James Stadium. In a letter to the venue operator, published in full on his official website, Scott argued it would be a “slap in the face” to allow the musician’s performances to be funded by taxpayers given West’s history of “constant antisemitic attacks.”

“It is troubling that a stadium supported by taxpayer dollars would openly subsidize an event led by an artist known for pushing this dangerous, hateful rhetoric, especially with Florida having one of the largest Jewish populations in our country,” Scott wrote in the letter.
