Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler Childers Declare They’re ‘All Your’n’ on Guts Tour Surprise Duet

Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler Childers Declare They’re ‘All Your’n’ on Guts Tour Surprise Duet

While performing at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, Olivia Rodrigo treated the crowd to a surprise duet with country singer-songwriter Tyler Childers.

The unexpected crossover saw the duo sing Childers’ Grammy-nominated hit “All Your’n” from his 2019 album, Country Squire. Trading lines, Rodrigo and Childers sang the country-soul ballad’s heartfelt chorus: “There ain’t two ways around it/There ain’t no tryin’ ’bout it/I’m all your’n and you’re all mine.”

Throughout her Guts world tour, the “Vampire” singer has brought out notable artists for special appearances, including Noah Kahan during the first night of shows in Madison Square Garden. The pair took on Kahan’s “Stick Season,” which Rodrigo previously covered during BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. In March, she also performed Sheryl Crow’s “If It Makes You Happy” with the Tuesday Night Music Club icon herself during a stop in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena.

Two months later, Rodrigo also surprised the audience in London by introducing Lily Allen on stage for a duet of the British star’s 2006 classic “Smile,” reuniting the pair after their memorable performance at Glastonbury Festival in 2022.

Earlier on Wednesday, Rodrigo showed her support for Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party’s presumptive presidential nominee, by reposting a video the vice president made about reproductive rights on Instagram. Rodrigo, who has long supported reproductive rights, launched Fund 4 Good, an initiative to help raise money for the National Network of Abortion Funds via her ticket sales, this year.

Courtney Love to Dave Grohl: ‘Just Say We’re Cool’

Courtney Love sat down for a sprawling conversation with Billy Corgan that covered everything from their shared hate of Kim Gordon to Marlon Brando, who the Hole lead singer thought was her grandfather for years. Toward the end of the nearly two-hour chat, the topic turned to Love and Dave Grohl‘s extremely rocky relationship dating back to the Nirvana days when she dated (and married) the band’s frontman, the late Kurt Cobain.

When discussing fellow friends and musicians speaking ill of them in the media during Corgan’s podcast The Magnificent Others, Love brought up Grohl, who she appeared to make a truce with in 2014 when Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. “Come out with it and just say we’re cool,” said Love, referencing Grohl. “Be man enough to man up, because you’re the Uberman. [You have] all the straight males and we’re cool, but you won’t say it because you’re afraid you’ll lose your audience. You’re afraid it’ll affect your relationship with literal Paul McCartney.” In 2014, Love criticized a 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert performance between the surviving members of Nirvana and Paul McCartney, saying (among other things) that she was not “not amused” by the Beatles member’s involvement.

Taylor Swift Fans React to’Elizabeth Taylor’ Music Video: ‘Has to Be an April Fools’ Joke’

Taylor Swift’s new music video for “Elizabeth Taylor” has sparked a passionate response from Swifties. Some fans are crying their eyes violet over their disappointment, while others are begging critics to get a grip. Of course, all of the discourse is taking place on the lovely, totally non-toxic place that is the internet.

Swift surprise-dropped the visual for her latest The Life of a Showgirl single on Tuesday. The video is somewhat of a departure for the pop superstar in that she doesn’t actually star in it. Instead, Swift pays homage to Taylor with clips from the Hollywood icon’s classic films and archival footage of the A-list actress’ dazzling life in the spotlight. It’s a fitting visual complement to the dramatic track, which draws many parallels between both Taylors.
