BTS is returning from a multi-year hiatus with a new album followed by a world tour, according to Reuters.

“March 20 Comeback Confirmed,” the K-pop group’s agency Big Hit Music said in a post Thursday, marking the boy band’s first studio album since 2020’s Be.

Before the official confirmation, the seven members teased their return in handwritten notes sent to some special fans to celebrate the New Year. In the messages, they hinted at being reunited soon with their loyal ARMY fanbase, cryptically writing the date March 20, 2026.

“We’ve waited more earnestly than anyone else,” RM wrote. “The year we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived,” Jimin added. “In 2026, we’ll make even more good memories, so look forward to it!” V said.

The band has been back in the studio together working since July, promising an album that will “reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas.”

“We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started,” BTS said in a statement last year. “We’re also planning a world tour alongside the new album. We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.”

In the time since their break, the members of BTS completed South Korea’s mandatory military service and pursued solo projects. Jimin and Jung Kook teamed up for the Disney+ series Are You Sure?!, with the second season airing in December; Jin premiered a concert film about his debut solo tour last month; and V was tapped to be the first brand ambassador for Korean beauty brand, TIRTIR.

Kacey Musgraves Is Going to the ‘Middle of Nowhere’ for Her Upcoming Arena Tour

Kacey Musgraves will hit North American arenas this fall in support of her sixth studio album, Middle of Nowhere, out Friday (May 1). The tour opens on her birthday, Aug. 21, at the United Center in Chicago and runs through October, closing with two nights at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. Opening acts include Midland, Flatland Cavalry, Carter Faith, Estevie, Charles Wesley Godwin, William Beckmann, Gabriella Rose, and the Brudi Brothers.

Middle of Nowhere, which includes guest vocals from Willie Nelson, Billy Strings, and Miranda Lambert, takes its title from a sign in the East Texas town where Musgraves grew up: “Golden, TX: Somewhere in the Middle of Nowhere.” She debuted four songs from the new album during the second weekend of Coachella. The lead single, the twangy “Dry Spell,” arrived in March, followed by the equally rootsy title track in April.

This September will mark the 30th anniversary of Tupac Shakur‘s violent death in Las Vegas, and little is known for sure about what actually happened that day. More than two decades later, Duane “Keefe D” Davis was eventually arrested for the murder in 2023 and is awaiting trial. In order to learn more, attorneys for Maurice Shakur, Tupac’s stepbrother, have filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Los Angeles alleging a “complex conspiracy to murder Tupac that involved much more than mere retaliation for a prior altercation.”

“Many individuals who were involved have long since passed way, while others have been hard to identify,” reads the suit obtained by Rolling Stone. “Yet, one thing is certain: there remain individuals who were involved in Tupac’s murder who, for 30 years, have not been held accountable for their crimes. This action seeks to change that and to recover damages for the wrongful death of Tupac.”

A London-based judge has rejected copyright claims from the heirs of two former bandmates of Jimi Hendrix, ruling against their bid to secure royalties from the guitarist’s catalog in a long-running dispute with Sony Music and the Hendrix estate.

In a 140-page ruling obtained by Rolling Stone, British High Court Judge Edwin Johnson found that Jimi Hendrix Experience bassist David Noel Redding and drummer John “Mitch” Mitchell signed a recording agreement on Oct. 11, 1966, that forfeited their rights to future royalties. The agreement was between band members Hendrix, Redding, and Mitchell and two music producers, Michael Jeffery and Bryan “Chas” Chandler.

Just a month after receiving a fly-by of his Nashville-area home by a pair of U.S. Army attack helicopters, Kid Rock took to the skies for a joyride of his own in an Apache gunship on Monday.

Rock got to the choppa during a visit to Virginia’s Fort Belvoir, where he was joined by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. The former Fox News host called Rock “a patriot and huge supporter of our troops” in a social media post that showed him and the rapper-singer posing in front of a helicopter. Rock’s flight on the AH-64, which according to the Military Air Tracking Alliance, lasted about 10 minutes, was filmed for use on Rock’s upcoming “Freedom 250” concert tour. During past Kid Rock tours, he used a pre-taped message from President Trump to open his shows.
