A$AP Rocky is officially taking Don’t Be Dumb on the road, announcing his first major headlining tour in nearly a decade and putting an end to years of stop-start rollout speculation. The Don’t Be Dumb World Tour arrives in the wake of the long-awaited album’s release last week.
Set to launch on May 27 in Chicago, the tour will span more than 40 dates across North America before heading overseas later in the summer for a European and U.K. run.
Rocky also has something for his fans North of the border, as he is scheduled to perform in Toronto on May 31st, followed by a Montréal stop on June 1st. Additional Canadian dates are slated for Western Canada later in the tour, with shows planned in Vancouver on Canada Day, and stops in Edmonton and Calgary in early July. The Montréal date, in particular, marks Rocky’s first appearance in the city as a headlining artist in several years.
The tour announcement follows a high-profile promotional stretch that included a Saturday Night Live performance and a series of visually ambitious music videos tied to the album. Live, the new material is expected to sit alongside selections from LONG.LIVE.A$AP, AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP and TESTING, offering a career-spanning setlist shaped by the tone of his latest offering.
Ticket presales begin this week, with general on-sale dates rolling out shortly after on A$AP Rocky's official website.
