Adam Sandler gave some simple advice to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as he officiated the couple’s star-studded wedding: “Kiss every chance you have, every day.”

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid revealed the comedian’s straightforward yet “touching” guidance during an interview with CNN. Reid also praised Sandler for doing a “phenomenal job” during the ceremony, which was held at Madison Square Garden on Friday.

Sandler, who has been married to his wife Jackie since 2003, was able to bring “a little bit of humor but also some sensitivity to what was going on,” Reid added. In a separate interview, Reid said Sandler’s speech was “hysterical.”

Reid was among the1,000 guests who attended Swift and Kelce’s blowout wedding over the July 4 holiday weekend. There were Kelce’s NFL pals; Swift’s longtime friends Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Zoë Kravitz, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, and the Haim sisters; country stars Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert; and familiar Hollywood faces like Bradley Cooper, Mariska Hargitay, Dakota Johnson, Steven Spielberg, and Nikki Glaser. Music icons Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks were also in attendance, and both reportedly performed during the reception.

News of Sandler officiating Swift and Kelce’s big day caused some ripples of surprise from corners of the internet. But Sandler has previously hinted at his friendship with Kelce, who made a cameo in Happy Gilmore 2. “Travis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell,” Sandler told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s like the guys I grew up with. When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say.”

‘Weird Al’ Has Seen Your ‘Weird A.I.’ Jokes and He Is Unamused

Even “Weird Al” Yankovic has limits to parodies he finds funny. For instance, he is not amused by the internet’s “Weird A.I.” jokes. Sure, “AI” in capital letters kinda looks like “Al,” but as he told Syracuse.com on Monday, he’s “not a fan of AI.” In fact, he made it clear that you literally cannot pay him obscene amounts of money to feign interest in artificial intelligence.

When a company hawking AI-powered “business software that would increase productivity” (ever the gentleman, Yankovic refused to name-and-shame) offered him “a nice pile of money” to flog their wares in a commercial he said no.
