Andy Williams, late guitarist for Buffalo metalcore icons Every Time I Die, will be commemorated with a lifelike statue and bench memorial at Gratwick Park in his hometown of North Tonawanda, New York.
The news was formally announced by his tribute Instagram page and his former bandmates today.
Williams' celebration of life was held last night at the Riverworks in Buffalo, where friends, family and fans gathered to honour the guitar player and pro wrestler. Emceed by content creator Mark Brickey, the evening included speeches by Andy Williams' partner and parents, and a word from the mayor of North Tonawanda, Austen Tylec. There were also acoustic tributes from members of Four Year Strong and Cave In, and closing eulogies from his wrestling partner Jesse ''The Blade'' Guilmette, as well as his co-guitarist in Every Time I Die, Jordan Buckley.

Andy Williams died at age 48 earlier this month, after collapsing following a wrestling match he took place in Pennsylvania.
A founding member of Every Time I Die, he dedicated himself to wrestling full-time after the band broke up in 2021, though he was already part of the AEW circuit. Under his wrestling name 'The Butcher', Williams participated in several battle royals and tag team matches across various circuits.
