It very much looks like A$AP Rocky is back in full force.

It has been nearly eight years since the New York rapper last released a new album. In the meantime, he has become the father of three children with his partner, Rihanna, who herself has not shared any new music in over a decade.

But if everything goes according to plan, his new album Don’t Be Dumb is set to be released this Friday. After unveiling the single Punk Rocky last week, along with a music video starring Winona Ryder, Rocky now shares Helicopter, which is expected to be the final release ahead of the full album.

Don’t Be Dumb was first announced by A$AP Rocky in 2024, but its release has been postponed several times since. That may ultimately be a good thing, as it gave renowned filmmaker Tim Burton time to create the album’s cover art. Featuring a sound much more characteristic of the rapper than Punk Rocky, the new single is accompanied by a video directed by Dan Streit, with visuals that recall early-2000s video games.

Bad Bunny sued for $16 million over voice recordings on 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' and 'X 100Pre' songs

Bad Bunny is facing a new $16 million lawsuit claiming he and his producing partner used a recording of a woman’s voice on two hit songs without her permission.

Tainaly Y. Serrano Rivera alleges in her 32-page lawsuit, filed Monday in Puerto Rico and obtained by Rolling Stone, that her voice appears prominently on the superstar’s 2018 track, “Solo de Mi,” from X 100pre and his follow-up song “EoO” from his 2025 album Debí Tirar Más Fotos. Serrano says both songs feature her delivering the line, “Mira, puñeta, no me quiten el perreo,” which translates roughly to, “Look, damn it, don’t take away my perreo.” (Perreo is a hip-driven dance style synonymous with reggaeton.)

Brigitte Bardot underwent surgery for cancer prior to death

In the final months of Brigitte Bardot‘s life, the actress underwent multiple surgeries to treat cancer, her husband Bernard d’Ormale told Paris Match. The two procedures, paired with her history of severe back pain, further weakened her health prior to her death on Dec. 28 at the age of 91.

“It slipped out two or three times in recent months, during moments of physical suffering, she would say: ‘I’m fed up, I want to leave…'” d’Ormale said. He noted that Bardot received assistance from nurses who “discreetly” visited their residence in Saint-Tropez on a daily basis. He also provided aid.
