Atsuko Chiba- Pope's Cocaine

Taylor Swift and Lainey Wilson Surprise Duet ‘Love Story’ at Travis Kelce’s NFL Concert

  1. Taylor Swift dropped by fiancé Travis Kelce‘s Tight End University event at the Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday night.

The 14-time Grammy winner took the stage in support of the Tight Ends and Friends Concert, which was presented by Sports Illustrated and Reese’s, helping kick off the three-day training camp founded in 2021 by NFL players Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen. The event was started as an opportunity for tight ends across the league to train, network, and share techniques.

Swift was joined by country star Lainey Wilson and the duo closed out the night with her hit song “Love Story” as the crowd erupted in cheers and sang along. During their set, Swift said the song request came from a “very special tight end” and that “tight end … is named George Kittle.”

‘Blair Witch’ Reboot to Struggle With TikTok Era When It Opens Next Fall

In 1999, The Blair Witch Project felt terrifying because of the “found footage” from a missing film crew with no smartphones to help when bad things happened in the woods. The movie’s producers will attempt to recontextualize and reboot that horror for the modern age when a new chapter of the franchise opens on Sept. 24, 2027.

They haven’t yet disclosed a plot or how such a movie would work (would something mystical appear on your TikTok FYP with the hashtag #TheBlairWitchChallenge?), but a teaser from Lionsgate on Instagram suggests that any hapless witch victims would have access to making digital video look like a VHS played on a VCR with tracking issues. Lionsgate honcho Adam Fogelson previously said the reboot would be “a new vision for Blair Witch that will reintroduce this horror classic for a new generation.”

The Killers’ Brandon Flowers Is Making a Country Pivot on New Solo Album

The Killers’ Brandon Flowers Is Making a Country Pivot on New Solo Album

When Brandon Flowers was growing up in Utah, his childhood wasn’t defined only by the rock & roll influences that would come to shape the Killers. He also had a father who loved country music, like Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. That rootsy, Americana sound often made its way into his band’s music, most recently on their 2021 LP Pressure Machine and 2006’s Sam’s Town, but it’s never been the sole artistic focus until now.

On Aug. 21, Flowers will release his first solo album in over a decade, Thrasher, recorded last July in Nashville at RCA Studio A with contributions from David Rawlings, Bob Dylan collaborator Charlie McCoy, and more. The first single, “Plans,” is out this Friday, June 26.

The Next Big Netflix Show Isn’t a Show — It’s a Game You Play On Your TV

It’s a stormy night. You’re in your apartment, looking nervously out the window at the trees bending in the wind, when you get a call from your best friend across the street. Her power is out — is yours still on? Suddenly, your living room goes dark. Get out of the building, she says. Meet her downstairs. That’s when you realize you’re not alone. Then everything starts going wrong.

This could easily be the premise of a new Netflix horror show — an episode of Black Mirror, say, or maybe something haunting from Ryan Murphy. But instead of simply watching where the show goes, you’re now part of it. When your friend calls in the game, your smartphone actually rings in your hand. When the lights go out, you use that same personal device to turn on a flashlight and look around. And when the shadows dancing in the corners start to move, it’s your actual skin you jump out of.
