Just days after tying the knot to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift has scored a total of five Emmy nominations at the 78th Emmy Awards. This marks her first nods at the awards ceremony in more than a decade.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show is nominated for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Best Directing for a Variety Special (Glenn Weiss), Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special, and Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Special.

Bad Bunny Gets the Last Laugh, Nabs Super Bowl Emmy Nod After Right-Wing Meltdown

Bad Bunny stays winning. The Puerto Rican superstar just earned his first Emmy nomination for his historic 2026 Super Bowl halftime performance, specifically in the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) category.

Interestingly enough, the musician is credited twice under the official nomination, once with his birth name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio for his role as a supervising producer of the performance, and as a performer. The performance itself earned nine nominations, including Outstanding Choreography For Variety Or Reality Programming, Outstanding Directing For A Variety Special, Outstanding Hairstyling For A Variety, Nonfiction Or Reality Program, Outstanding Production Design For A Variety Special, Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Special, Outstanding Music Direction, and the aforementioned Outstanding Variety Special (Live), though Bad Bunny is only listed under Outstanding Variety Special (Live).

A new Madonna photo book is on the way. Madonna: Into the Groove is set for release this October, and will feature images by famed rock & roll photographer Ken Regan, plus accompanying text by former Rolling Stone staff writer Tomás Mier.

Madonna: Into the Groove features images of the Queen of Pop from 1985. That year found her on the Virgin Tour, performing at Live Aid, and starring in the screwball comedy Desperately Seeking Susan. Across approximately 200-pages, the new photo book features portraits of the rising star as she became a global icon.

Ed Sheeran to Sign New Deal With Interscope Records

Ed Sheeran is set to switch labels after 15 years, with the singer-songwriter on track to ink a new deal with Interscope Records, Rolling Stone has confirmed. The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The change is a big one for Sheeran, who’s spent the entirety of his career so far at Atlantic, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. His deal with WMG ended earlier this year, and by jumping to Interscope, he’ll now be under the umbrella of Universal Music Group, the largest major label in the world.

Sam Cooke’s Granddaughters Preview Their Daptone Debut With ‘If I Let You’

When a group calling themselves the Womack Sisters announce a throwback soul album, the first thing they have to contend with is their legacy. Zeimani, Kucha, and BG Womack are the daughters of Linda and Cecil Womack, who made R&B records in the Eighties. Their grandfather (Linda’s dad) is Sam Cooke. And their uncle is Cecil’s older brother, R&B legend Bobby Womack.

In August, the trio will release The Womack Sisters, their self-titled debut, on Daptone Records. Fans of the label will recognize the textured harmonies and vintage arrangements that run through “If I Let You,” the group’s latest single, out today (July 8). Beginning with a driving organ, the bouncy soul-pop tune is a meditation on rushing into love.
